Wood and Concrete Bathroom Project, Chapelizod

Our client for this project was an architect, we had a good few meetings drawing and discussing the concept of the new bathroom.

We finally settled on aged concrete and natural wood with many geometric shelves to satisfy our client’s taste for strict symmetry.

Halfway through the work it was suggested to brighten the colour of the wooden tiles so they look as natural and vibrant as possible.

The LED lights we installed rendered a clearer contrast between the brown and black.
This way the bathroom looked much more natural and it is hard to tell that the wood is made up of tiles.

The ceiling was plastered with brown plaster and then lacquered – white would not have suited our concept.

A demister mirror cabinet with a socket inside was installed as well.

“I had my bathroom completely refurbished in late 2019 with Diamond Bath.

Kestas was professional & attentive from Day 1 all the way through to completion.

He managed all the various trades & suppliers required for a relatively complicated design and no problem that arose was insurmountable to him.

The existing floor finishes were covered by Diamond Bath prior to starting and all was left fully tidied and clean upon completion.

The finish was excellent and amazing.
Based on my experience, I can highly recommend Kestas and his team at Diamond Bath.”
